PIEGA Premium Wireless Gen2 is now available!
First generation Premium Wireless series, by Swiss manufacturer of High-End loudspeakers, is at the End of Life. The entire series gets an update within the Gen2 (Premium 301 / 501 / 701 Wireless Gen2). The PIEGA connect plus still stay the same on the hardware side, but PIEGA will continuously rework and optimize the firmware to enable additional features like the new PIEGA Control App with Movie Mode and Bass Boost.
Premium 701 / 501 Wireless Gen2 mount now 4 woofers instead the single one of the old configuration, a fully active 3-way technology. A total output of 180 watts (Premium 501), 200 watts (Premium 701) for the floor-standing loudspeakers and 100 watts for the compact model leaves enough scope for very dynamic music reproduction. Compared to the Gen 1, the floorstanding loudspeakers are equipped with additional woofers in order to be able to combine the dynamic reserves of the previous bass reflex models with the precision of closed bass enclosures.
The Premium 701 uses the same excellent LDR 3056 ribbon tweeter that thanks to the optimised magnet system and a new foil layout offers higher efficiency, greater bandwidth and linearity. Premium 501 and 310 Gen2 will mount also as the Gen1 the LDR 2642 MKII ribbon.
Linear Drive Ribbon tweeters are manufactured in Switzerland, developed by PIEGA are famous for their airy, finely resolved and impulse-precise sound.
The loudspeakers are finally assembled in Horgen on Lake Zurich and subjected to intensive acoustic tests, so that each individual example can proudly bear the "Made in Switzerland" logo. All models are available with a brushed aluminum surface, black anodised or white lacquered.

All three models are versatile, easy to operate and can be wirelessly connected to a large number of sources as a hub via the PIEGA connect plus, which is available separately. Built-in network functionality and compatibility with Apple Airplay, Google Chromecast, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, DLNA and Bluetooth enable convenient streaming without further adjustments. The hub can be connected to practically any existing installation with a television via HDMI-ARC.
The iOS version of the PIEGA Control App and an iPhone can also be used to calibrate the existing room acoustics and set up in the frequency range below 500 Hz. Further sound adjustments to the listening taste and the room acoustics in the middle and high range are possible with the equalizer in the app.
